changing my bearings

I just bought a 2001 300ex, and its bearings were shot. I cannot get the brake disc hub to come off the axel to remove the axel. I have tried everything I can think of and it wont budge...any ideas on how to get it loose? Tried pounding it, pb blaster, nothing is working....help me please!

I've had to heat them a few times aroun the outside. A nice trick is to find a socket to fit over the threads on the end of the axle and then u can whack at it without damaging the end.
