Mods to make you faster ----!----

I currently have the following mods...

- Yoshimura RS-3 Full Exhaust
- Stage 3 Rev Box
- Stage 2 Hotcam
- 38 tooth back sprocket
- K&N Air Filter

If price wasn't an issue, what mods would you recommend me to get to make me go faster?

what bike?


to go faster, bigger from sprocket, smaller rear, or higher RPM rev limit, taller tires. the ONLY ways to go faster. motor mods only make you quicker, get you to the top speed quicker, but gearing or RPM changes are the only things that will make you faster on top end.

No Lukeidiot...the only mods that will make you faster (more top-speed) is gearing changes, higher rpm limit, or taller tires.

power-yes speed-no

top speed is a simple equation of gearing, rpm, final drive ratio, and tire size.

a bone stock 400ex will do the same top speed as a full blown race 400 considering the gearing, rpm limit, and tire size is the same, it will just take the stock bike a lot longer to reach that top speed.

exactly. i browse the 250ex forum every so often since i had one for a few years a while back. they dont seem to quite understand that getting a pipe will not raise their top speed.

Gearing, Your weight, tires,rev box, and Practice! Also where do you want to go fast? In the woods a good suspension will give you comfort thus alowing you to go faster, also works for the track. In an all out drag you will need gearing, weight, tires,rev box,and practice, and a little nitro won't hurt to get you to top speed faster. Also proper maintenace.

no, you just need to re gear the 400.
