Top Speed of STOCK 250r?

ya.. high 60's ... mine does a little over 70

stock 250r in most magazines was around 68 mph.. but depending your elevation, surface, wind, rider weight, etc some magazines claimed it could get up to 71-75 mph. 70-72 in 3/4wheel action when they took all the bikes to the drag strip.

the 86 is said to be the fastest yr b/c of the taller 6th gear than the 87-89 models
