Valves ticking

I recently tried to adjust my valves and when i tried to get them limp for tighting one of the valves kinda wanted to stay down, i had to pull it up. now my motor still ticks after the adjustment.

so what should i do to replace my valves if thats my problem?

PS: Buying Bolt on 440 kit for 400ex! =]

Go with the kibblewhite oversized valves to compliment your 440. Just do a search on google and you can find them.

OK that helps out alot:rolleyes: It sounds to me like you adjusted the valves with the decompressor activated. Sometimes when adjusting the valves you will have to rotate the motor around once more. Make sure cam lobes are facing down.Personnaly I wouldn't install a 440 kit. You can have just as powerful motor with a 416 kit and 10 times more reliable.
