Complete 97 300ex for sale cheap-$750 or best offer

Hey guys,

A friend of friend gave me his 300ex to do a tune up on it. After getting it to my house, I went thru everything and it doesn't have any compression. Its a complete quad and was running 3 weeks ago. It has stock rear plastic and maier fronts in red. maxis razr tires. It looks as though he ran it too low on oil and fried the rings and the head will need to be re-done as well most likely. Crank and engine spins freely with the electric start.

He wants to cut his losses and get what he can for it? No shipping and I am sure he is open to offers.

This is a perfect quad to cheaply fix up for someone.

Anyone still interested?? If it doesn't go by the end of next week, I am going to grab a piston and rings off ebay and rebuild and sell it as a running quad.

Any takers?? I will drop the price to $675 if it can be picked up by next Tuesday.
