clutch adjustment

Ok my second gear was slipping so I decied to adjust it on the motor under the header pipe. I have just about 5 threads showing on the back side of the bracket. Then I rode it and it stopped slipping for a little bit. Can I go even more with the adjustment. It seems that it helped for a while but need to go even more can I. But then it started to slipp again need help

You need to adjust the lower adjustment enough so that you can adjust the top adjuster at the pull so that the cable fully realeases or in other words so you have about 3/8" play when you first pull on the lever, that way you know its fully engaged.
