mx gearing for 06

just wondering what you guys are running for gearing on your 06 450r's...i race mx and have an 06 450er and im not sure which gearing i should run.

What size rear tires are running? I have 18" maxxis and i run 13t front and 36t rear on my 06 450er. Alot guys run a 14t in the front with 18".

What is the stock on the 06/07 now? Was just wondering how much it has changed from the 04/05...

Im pretty sure stock for the 06 07's are 13 - 38 and for the 04 05 it was 14 - 38.

Stock gearing with 18's works great

Depends alot on the track size and soil. Cause most of are tracks are sandy here in florida we cant run stock gearing cause the rears spin too much. Plus tracks like gatorback in gainsville you need top speed. Thats why we run 36t in the rear. Now if i was racing at sunshine motocross in clearwater, i would run stock gearing cause that track is set like a supercross track. Very short takeoffs too the jumps.
