Need Help w/ Photoshop

My photoshop just took a crap. Do you want it like that^ or do you want it to have some depth to it? I'm gonna have to re-install photoshop so if you want it to have some depth I'll do it tomorrow.

That was good, but I need something else done. Could you make the star blue and white instead of red and black? The blue i'm looking for is sort of a dark but yet bright blue (not sure what to call it). Thanks.
