Ok I know +2 arms are a primo set up for the 400 and Ive heard that +2+1s feel a little sketchy but I wanted to hear from anyone that is either using this setup or has ridden on it . So whats the verdict!

I have rode my friends quad with the denton +2+1 a arms and the only complaint I got is it seems like the bikes pushes alot in the corners.

i have +2+1 on my 400, if i had to do it over again i would just get +2, when i got mine i figured that being +1 forward it would make the front end heavier and thats what i wanted for jumping perposes to keep the nose down, but i have come to realize later that it makes it worse becuase by putting +1's on it brings my center of gravity more to the back which is the oppisit of what i wanted to do.but i am used to it and an confortable riding it the way it is, i really cant say how it handles on the track compared to a +0 because i never rode one that way. in my opinion the 400ex is too rear end heavy, so to correct that i would get a +1 swing arm and a +2+0 front end.

see how high the front end is in this pic, the bike has a tendensy to do this, so i need to hit the brakes in the air alot with a +1 swingarm and +2+0 front end this is les likely to happen.

like quad041 said with a 400ex you want to get a + 1 or +1 1/4 swingarm to make it feel more balanced because the rear is heavy. I have heard that on a 250r +2+1 are real popular because they are a little front heavy. I would stick with just +2 for u

Thanks for the input, hard to believe 1" will affect the feel that much but thats physics !
