I heard you were supposed to run 14" tires so your swingarm is just skimming the ground so you have better air flow around you.

ive heard that quite a few times also

if you take all the bolts out of your srockets you gain 3 HP and 6.25MPH :blah:

^^^ Totally true, and if you remove your head bolts you get something like another 2 1/4 HP.

+ Handgaurds = +15HP and i beleve if you take off all your lug nuts you'll add another 6HP .

Also, i heard them aftermarket flame stickers have a noticable difference too .

I did the flame sticker mod also picked up like 3 mph.

I hit 81 mph with a 13 tooth front and 20" rears and didn't hit the rev limiter.

I don't have a LTR450, but I know from experience if you burn out till your tires are smooth, you will be able to get up to 127mph stock.

UPDATE: If you take off your fenders, seat and handlebars, you will gain 5-7mph.
