Removing Sparks Advance Key

What are the consequences to removing the Sparks key from my stroker motor? All the research I have done says the key is designed for a stock motor. The motor I purchased is far from stock. What are the consequences leaving the key in aside from running the 110 leaded? The motor runs top notch, just not wanting to jeopardize realiability

it will make your engine run hotter and possibly cause predetonation. With a stroker I would probably remove the key just to be safe...the low end power you lose would be worth it rather than having to rebuild your motor.
