Just as the title says, your favorite recipe for trout. I wanna try something different than just trout with herbs and lemon.

we always pan seared them with a "special blend" of spices

Like to bake 'em in virgin olive oil and fresh dill, or pan fry 'em in canola oil after rolling them in Louisiana fish fry that has had Tommy Chachneros(sp?) louisiana spice added to it. very good either way! ; )

Stuff it with wild rice and a bit of lemon zest , then bake it.

fillet and skin (yes not much meat i know)put chopped onions in the bottom of a deep baking pan,sprinkle garlic,salt peeper and fresh sqeeze allitle lemon on top of onions.then mix50/50 mayonaise and sour cream, lay filletts on bed of onions, then layer it with the mayonaise/sourcream bake 350 15min. pull out, cover the entire dish with graded cheddar cheese, bake again till cheese is golden brown.serve this on a bed of white sticky rice its super ono.sounds gross but its awsome its even better with halibut.;)
