If I put a dyno jet kit and a K&N filtler in my YFZ can I still live the air box lid on it and it will still run good?

Sure. You just have to have it jetted correctly for your settup. A Dynojet kit will come with a bunch of different jet sizes so you can adapt the jetting to your particular settup and environment.

I agree. One thing to remember is that the dynojet jets are sized differently, so be sure and follow the dynojet instructions for your altitude. we put a dynojet kit in my friends yfz and I had been jetting carbs for years and thought the dynojet kit instructions were wrong when it called for like a 138 main. I just knew it would be way too lean but I called dynojet and they explained it to me. Just follow the instructions and forget everything you know about normal jetting and you should be fine.
