mx gearing

Hey
I have an 04 450R and I race mx, I run 18's with stock gearing, what should I be running? The only motor work s a pipe/filter. Your input is greatly appreciated!

maybe try one tooth up in the front..

the gearing depends mostly on the track layout. Going up on the front and down on the rear sprockets will give more top end, and the opposite for bottom. i run a 15/37 on my 400, but local track is mostly straits.

I have a 04 Trx 450R and on a short tight track i like to run a 13 in the front and a 40 in the rear for lots of bottom end, on a longer faster track i run a 14 up front and a 38 in the rear
