banshee hybrid idea

hey guys, i have been looking around for a idea for a hybrid, and i think i may have found something that may be doable, how hard do you think it would be to put either a yzf 450 or a honda 400ex motor in a banshee?

ok well my other plan is a 250r, but i dont have the cash to get a aftermarket frame whats the biggest motor you can fit in one?

I have a 96 three cylinder 1100cc yamaha jet ski motor complete why don't you put it in there. it may need rebuilt.

What they are trying to say is, the Banshee chassis is not the best handling unit out there. Matter of fact it was probably the worst suspension of any sport bike.
If your planning on going in a straight line, then your probably ok with the Banshee. If you want to do anything else competitively steer more toward the Honda.

From what i've seen the Honda 250R chassis will except most any of the 450 dirtbike engines with ease. That chassis was one of the best designs of all times. Most everything has been copyed from it.

If you look around you will see that there are tons of 250R hybrids out there with all kinds of engine combinations.

ok but i have been asking some questions in the 250R forum and they are saying that the 250R is really purpose built for a 2 stroke and i am wanting a 4 stroke because i preffer a 4 stroke.

I have what you need. it's a 01 honda 400ex with a NX-650cc motor put into it. the motor is just like a XR650L motor. it has a racing pipe on it newer tires,nerf bars,k/n filter. its fast and looks like a stock 400ex. it needs a battery,rear brake pads,cailiper needs seals as it's leaking. for $3,000.00 will trade for jet ski,
4x4 atv,car or ????

I have a 400ex frame,sub frame,one side of the a-arms,gas tank,batt box,oil cooler. I would take $125.00 for it.

I also have a IMS gas tank,air scoops,frame skid plate brand new for $125.00

my TRX650EX KONG hybird atv will be listed on e-bay on Friday or Sat so if you are interested please bid on it. I did pick up an extra motor XR650L that needs rebuilt I have the whole wiring harness and exhaust.? or I have a 250 v-twin honda motor.??
