i just put a 440 kit in my 400 ex, are any of ya'll using a stock plug, or did ya'll switch to a hotter one? also what are ya'll setting the fuel/air mix to?

FYI: The standard plug (DPR8Z) is the hotter of the two plugs. The optional plug (DPR9Z) is colder.

A lot of what will determine the appropriate heat range for the plug is how you ride. If you're often running hard enough to feel as though the engine is borderline overheating, then run the colder plug. The heat range of the plug won't have an impact on the engine's running tempuratures, but a colder plug will be less prone to overheating (the plug itself, that is).
