Does anybody know if the rear shock on an xr50 is adjustable? My 4 year is jumping about 6 to 8 feet and I hear a clunk when he lands. I was wondering if I can stiffen it up alittle.

No, you can't adjust it or even rebuild it. Keep a close eye on the bottom out bumper, they are known to fall apart if it bottoms alot.
