a i was just wondering if genx makes like custom hoods cause i was planing on ordering a hood from a new300 and try and making it fit on my 06 250ex, or if i email them would they make a hood specificly for my bike?

A lot goes into making a new hood if you want it to fit right, its not an overnight thing. We happened to be looking at a 250ex earlier today. I cant tell you when it will get done but it will get done. Right now the new KFX450 is next up and should be done in a few days. We go by the amount of requests for new stuff. In the last year we had 1 person ask for a polaris pred. product. In the same time we got lots of calls and emails for the 300ex, so 300ex it is. The more requests...the sooner it gets done. We also check the forums a lot to see what people are looking for.

k thanks alot and i understand that its not a one night thing, hopefully u guys will have one in the market for the 250ex.

i jus called before i saw this thread for a 250ex hood and the guy that answered said probobly not nless i get 10 guys askin for it

Depending on how easily it could be made to fit an older style 250, I would definately think about ordering one.

theres only 1 front piece u cant have a hood

belive me, depending on how flexible the hood would be, he can make an 06 250ex hood fit his older style one, anythings possible. just like the ppl with older 400ex plastics making the 450r hood fit

i genx would make one i would buy it if it had the scoop on it, my stock one is chiped...my dad roosted me on his sportsman 700
