Clay Peak MX Park would be where the majority of the Youth racing originated a couple of years ago at the 1st quads only WORCS series.
The Youth class has steadily grown over time and has taken to a higher and much more competitive level with kids racing anything from 50cc 4 yr. olds to highly modified Hybrid 125-150cc mini quads to keep the youth in a class thats for the rider who is not yet age of size wise ready to move up to a full sized quad.

The Youth classes have been a HUGE success in WORCS racing with youth classes under 15yrs old ,riders are able to chose from a variety of 15 classes to race in between Sat.and Sunday racing.

Clay Peak in the past has been known for its change in pace as a very past pace track with very little jumps and sections that could easily reached in 5th gear.
Mini riders were also able to hit some high speeds in the MX section . But this year would prove to be a whole new ball game as the MX section was completely rebuilt at thelast minute- overwatering and rain would cause havoc for several of the riders this past wk end as well...

To start the Coverage off, youths over 50cc were given an option to race the unclassified combined with the Amatuer B/C classes.

After the unclassified race, the Shifter open,91-125cc open,71-90 mod. 8-15,71-90cc stock 8-15yrs and the 51-70cc mod 6-11yrs. ALL share the same race with separate gates .

Shifter open riders are off !!
Rider ##196y Casey Donahoe from Puyallup Wa. was flat out haulin ! Out front for most of the race ,but was not able to finish his last lap at he blew a motor.
Two of the shifters did not make there final lap and I heard an unconfirmed reason for one of the shifter riders that he ran out of fuel.,Im just not sure which one .
If someone can post the info at the end of the coverage on these two riders that woule be great

Holding the number 2 spot would be 18y Parker Taylor

It was a great race to the end. I just wanted to say the Ze'vyer #961 dropped to 5th in the second lap due to a rock being lodged between his steering stem and the stop on the frame not allowing him to turn left. It was still a great race....
