had a bad crash at a xc event and quad looks like the swinger is twisted. when i jack up the quad evenly, the right rear tire stays on the ground and the left comes off the ground about 2". everything looks straight in front of the swingarm. i was just wondering if this is possible or someone else has done this. also the axle was bent when i crashed. any help would be great.

i would say if anything, the swingarm pivot bolt would bend before the swing arm would. replace the axle first since you said you know that its bent, then see if the problem still exists. try and take out the pivot bolt to see if that is bent also.

Its possible, my buddy twisted his after market swinger last year.

Its not real common but it is possible

I twisted the swing-arm on my Banshee. I can't believe alluminum would twist and not break.

took the swinger out and layed it on a perfectlly flat steel work bench and it is twisted about 1/4" from front to rear which translate into about 2" from outside to outside rear tires. the pivot bolt was not bent. but once the swinger was out, the bolt would not go back through the swingarm. anyone have a stocker for sale? thanks for the replys....

It might be a good time to look into an aftermarket one. You wouldn't have to buy a bearing carrier with an 06.
