Well i have no idea where to buy a quad stand from and am sick of using a crate. Any ideas guys?

Can you weld ok? If so, I'd go buy a few pieces of angle iron and some 1/4 in. flat stock and build ya one up.. Or use wood.

If you have even minimal fabrication skills, just build one.
I built mine all out of square tubing, then gave it a polished aluminum top. Looks good, works great.....but its a bit on the heavy side.

I have used two crates zip tied together for some time, gets it up to a really nice height and works well to store/move a few things in the mean time.
Recently I had a jack just like the one he shows given to me, nice to use and work with but is a huge pain to move anywhere but the shop floor, it stays home

I just use a crate and I have a stand like firefighterjosh's. Yeah, I would just fabricate on up, but so It wont be too heavy also.
