400ex bore

How big can you bore out a 400ex cylinder before you have to install a sleeve in it.

You can get away with a 426 but I hear that you should resleeve so it doesnt get hot. I would get a 416 to be safe. I chose a 416 so I got power without the cost of resleeving. Just my opinion. Hope it helps.

426 or 88MM; not sure I'd do that though as the sleeve gets awfully thin. A 416 may be a better choice.

Thanks for the advice, I think im gonna go with the resleeved 440 kit.
