key placement

i have new brs coming in the mail. they are longhorn atv high that are bulge bars. i want to get rid of my dash, so where should i put my key. i was thinking of putting it on my left fender. what sized holes should i do. please help me and post lots of pics. thanks.

what sized whole do i need for the keys and the lights?

i relocated mine to right underneath the reverse switch, and the neutral and reverse lights to the opposite side on the fender.....i personally dont like the location of my key now after i think about it becasue its so out in the open to getting hit by rocks or something and damagung the ignition....just my opinion

i drilled a 1" hole on the opposite side of the reverse switch earlier tonight. i gotta make a oval plate since its not perfectly flat and just paint it black and screw it in so the ignition clips into it. i am going to put my lights on the left and right of the fuel cap on the yellow plastic. i will post pics when i am done hopefully saturday

i tried to take it off last night but i couldnt figure out how to unplug the wires and take it off. is there a trick to this?

i cut me a square piece of aluminuim, and cut the holes in it and mounted it on my handle bars and bolted it between the clamp and stem, ill see if i can get me a pic

Snaps right in and stays if you drill the right size hole.

yeah i moved my key and lights too cause i got new bars i put my key on the right fender and lights on the left i used a 1 inch hole for the key and kinda bored it out some. and a 5/8 for the lights. i love it:D
