I personally thought it was the most fun and the best track on the circuit thus far in the season!
Who else thought that the track was a lot of fun?!

lol.
I think you was probably the only one that thought that . :p
hopefully next year the MX section will be much improved, if its held here again that is.
Generally this is a pretty cool place to ride and race and is quite abit different of pace than the rest of the tracks. The weatherthis time of year also can go either way and well.... ...It did both! LOL

Glad you had a great time!

I cant wait to see what Round 5 is all about !:blah:

I agree. What size tire will you guys be running in the rear for round 5 since it is a mx track? 20 or 18?

Just because there is a motorcross track doesnt mean there wont be a whole lot of off road course also.

I know that, but I was thinking since it is a new course to the series it could be different.

Nope, Basically every WORCS race, with the exception of Pismo, is based around a Motocross course. They always have an off-road loop. This track is no different, Sean would not take us to this track if it was only Motocross.

Run 20's, like you would for any WORCS race.

Some of the WORCS Coverage is now up.
Hanes, you most def. will want 20's like Cannondalerider mentioned. I wouldnt even consider an 18 . ;)
My Husband tried that one time only and I dunno how he even finished!:p lol

ya 20's are the only way to go in WORCS racing.....
being that it is by the coast im not expecting to have much DUST! :D
what do you think?

(wish i could wear a holeshot tearoff! )

I think it could be windy because its by the coast and it being down south. :ermm:

I've always raced WORCS with 18"s....just becuase I couldn't afford to buy new tires for the WORCS races....and I always did real well - it's tougher on your body, I think, though......wore me out! LoL!!

i know that we are going to be the 1st race ever on it!
and i dont think wind is going to be a factor at all... being that it is back in the hills some.
the track pictures look awesome!

How does the friday organized practice work? I have done the unclassified race in the morning on saturdays but have never done the friday practice. Can you just practice anytime you want during the time period you are given or what?

CannondaleRider

Yep, full on open practice, except for the Pro only practice, from 3:00 to 4:00. I think they also run a Youth only practice, although it's not labeled.

As for the goggle subject, this race would be a VERY good opportunity for Scott to bring a rig out. If they were to come to any, it should be this one.

actually on the practice....
they do have a schedule that you are suppose to go by...
but most tracks just let everyone go out there at once.....
even if they use the schedule that they have you get enough practice to be satisfied.....

i cant wait for this track!

thanks guys for the info. I just would like to know when to show up. Also, I usually just get a weekend pass, but I will be participating a lot more so I am wanting to get a membership. For choosing a number do I just put what number I want in the box and its final or what?

CannondaleRider

You'll just have to ask for a number when you register for your membership. If it's taken, choose another.

Or, if you want your number/backgrounds prepared before the race, just call up Pepper and set up your membership, and she'll help you get a number.
