I'm in Chicago this week. More precisely, out in Aurora. Anybody suggest something cool that I shouldn't miss while I'm out here?

Next week, I'm heading to Wisconsin.

Sears Tower is a must see. That 25MPH straight-up elevator ride is cool.

So far, rain. Puts a little damper on things. It doesn't make it impossible to go out, but it just seems to sap the enthusiasm from people to where they don't WANT to go out.

This is a little pit-stop for me on my way to Wisconsin, just outside the Dells. I'll only be here a couple days, but I'll be in the land of cheese for a week and a half.

I heard great things about the trails in Wisconsin, one of these trips I'll have to bring my quad and try them out.

I heard the same stuff. Chicago deep-dish pizza, and hot dogs. My wife is in a quest to try authentic Chicago gyros.

any idea on the route youre taking up to the dells? sounds like you'll be going right through my neck of the woods. and yes, wisconsin definitely has a great trail system.

I don't have the slightest clue. My wife had made the trip several times, so she has it all planned out.

I'm not a real control-freak, but my wife is. If I planned it all out, she would want to know the details, the routes, and find fault in several things and suggest alternatives. So I just let her handle from the start, it's easier on both of us, and it frees up my time.

Hey! I live about 20 miles from Aurora, nice to hear you're out this way.

I would recommend the casinos, but you're from Nevada!:blah:

There are a few tracks in the area.... Joliet MX, Byron. What are you looking to do?

Damn, now that I think of it, it's pretty boring around here.:ermm:

Yeah, I don't need to go to the casinos, I live in one.

A track is out of the question, I don't have anything to ride.

I really only have two full days to do something, and today was one of them. What I'm looking for most is something kinda authentic Chicago. There is some discussion about going to the Museum of Science and Industry, that's a possibility.

Museum of Science and Industry is an excellent choice. I've always enjoyed visiting there, neat things to see.

Too bad the weather is so nasty, Navy Pier and the shoreline are always nice to check out.
