i got a blaster rolling chassis and i am wodering should i put a125 or a 250 in it? im worried that the 125 wont give enough power to pull the quad good enough? any ideas would be great

PM QuadJunkies. She has a blaster hybrid that her daughter races. She could tell you.

if you put an 85 in it there would be more power than that blaster motor puts out....a 125 would definately be a good motor to drop in. You'll have to do some rubber mounting though, those motors vibrate like crazy in a quad frame.

like glammis said, PM QuadJunkies, her daugthers quad is a very nice setup.

What size is the rider who will be on it ? Slinky iscorrect on power. A highly modded Blaster rips too but the mini motors can pull power as well..
Ive seen the 125 race actually .
We have a modified 85 bumped to a 90cc and produces 27HP.
Just make sure you do your homework so that the build will all fall into place. :)
The key is to buidling a rock solid motor. Make sure you put a stronger rod in it pulling all the added weight.
its alot of work but can be rewarding!:scary:

We converted everything on ours to 400ex and use Laeger both front and rear end.
I can show you some shots if you like?

There is lots of A-Arms you can chose from, I would ask around in the Blaster section for others who have set ups
no, you dont have to modify the Frame any, just gussets would be good.
How big is the rider?
I should say they are 400ex style as because we used 400ex spindles and hubs. ;)

The ergonomics on a 400ex are much better than a Blasters,so Im thinking Laeger obviously made 400ex style instead of sticking with Blaster parts. I could be wrong but it makes sense.

Theo nly thing about that is you dont know what your getting. That motor could be total junk as well as the frame.Trust me from my own experience.
There are great deals out there but IMO your better off building your own so you know what your getting for the end result.
