wrong. Thats 297. Hetrick sells the true 300 piston. But dont worry about it. The high comp piston is what makes the difference. 10 cc's isnt going to be noticable on the 300. I ran a .020 and never once thought of changing to a .080.

i searched it on here and people said .080 is true 300

edit: now I cant find the thread. So .080 is as much as you can bore on a stock sleeve so you can only go to 297cc with stock sleeve.

Im not trying to start any thing but its really not. I just did the math again on it and it still is coming out 297. It is 297cc.

this is how you do it. You can use one of those calculators that are online but this is how you do it using real math.

its PI/4 x bore^2 x stroke x # number of cylinders. Then divide by 1000. Do that with this.

PI/4 x 76^2 x 65.5 x 1 = 297138. Divide by 1000. Equals 297.138. Thats the displacment.

a 76.5 which would be a .10 over is a 301. So there is no piston except one that is in between sizes that will be a real 300.

I know your not starting anything. You are right. I just searched on here real quick without thinking about it and someone said .080 over was 300.

but your right.

You can go all the way up to a 305 with the stock sleeve.
