My levers are slighlty bent away from the bars. I bought it used and think the previous owner purposely bent them out a little so they have a little curve to them, I want to straighten them out so i can fit some handguards on. Just looking for some ideas before i put them in a vice, Is there a better way? they are stock levers. and its on a 03 400ex Thanks

put em in the vice, and use some heat so they bend back easier. oh yea, take it easy and go kinda slow when crankin down on the vice

hope this helps

buy new ones, there are only a few bucks from the local shop. the levers are only made of pot metal and will break easily and become very weak from you bending them. get new ones and keep the ones you have now as spares. or on my quad, the little balls on the ends are cut off and sanded smooth to allow for hand guards.

You should be able to get a new set for less than $15
