anyone use taller foam if u are over 6 foot? like the hi flite setup. i'm 6'3" and it's a long way up and down with a stock seat....

im 6' 3" as well and i really dont have a problem getting up and down and im a pretty big guy myself 250 lbs but everyone rides different taller seat foam would help also more for comfort try a longer stem and hi bend bars it made my r feel so much better to me being a taller rider

Im 6'4" and race XC. I actually took off the taller foam, in exchange for 400ex foam that i cut. I didn't like the taller form due to the fact that it was way stiff, and it made it feel to tippy for fast corners. I also second the idea of a taller stem and a hi-rise bend handlebars. If cost is a big deal, check out roxspeedfx.com they have some good handle bar risers that help out. But if you want taller foam check out hi-flite.com

Im 6' 8", have a +2, but it was so tall with the renthal 250R bend bars so I went to Cr mid bends, so perhaps a +1 is all thats needed.....

probably, but Im a hell of a lot better at clearing doubles than I am at doing slam dunks :D


and if I may rant for a moment, I get that NBA thing all the time and people just dont realize how tall those guys really are. Average NBA height is 6 10, so Im too short to play :devil:
