Will an aftermarket 400ex rear shock fit on my 04 450r stock swinger with GT MX link??

From what I have seen a STOCK 400ex shock won't fit on a 450r with the stock linkage. Don't know about with a GTT link tho, that would change a lot.
A stock 450r shock will work on a stock 400ex, it is super stiff though.

Also it would depend on which aftermarket shock you are using.

Even if it does fit, the valving will be WAY off. It will be very soft on a 450r, and the GTT linkage changes the leverage ratio even more which will make it even softer.

yea i would think it would be super soft, becouse a 450r rear on a 400ex is rock hard with no uptravel, but it lowers the quad, so i guess a 400 shock on a 450 would make it soft and sit higher, idk about the linkage though

i had my stock 450 shock on my 400 and what d3ktrix and mx1791 said was all from seeing mine lol.
