I Just bought a 2007 yfz 450 and was wondering if i should do a full system or just a slip on and what brand would be most optimal??

a full system would be the best. there is a ton of brands out there a few are hmf, rossier, sparks, yoshi, dr.d, white bros, ect.
the new gytr pipe is also very good.

I've had 3 LRD's and love them on my YFZ
1 Nmotion - Loved it to.. Just a little loud
1 Pulse charger- it was ok, but broke

Full system definatly. My brother has a HMF full system on his YFZ and its awesome. It has a lot of power. I have also heard good things bout the SPARKS and the new GYTR.

Don't you just love it when people reply to your post and dont even OWN a YFZ?? I've had 4 different pipes on mine. HMF full, Dr D s/o, WB E2 s/o, and a Muzzy s/o. The HMF made great power up top, but was WAAAY to loud. The other slip-ons are close in power, with the Dr.D with the best low-end. The WB was a great all around pipe, but the mounting system was weak. I'm currently running the Muzzy and am pleased with it's performance, and it's fairly quiet too.

I have an LRD Pro4 slip-on and also love it so far. It seems to make a great all around improvement and isn't all that loud either. See my post under dyno section for my mods and charts.
