I think you guys will like this. Holds the battery and all electricals, has a lid with a neoprene rubber seal, accepts the stock snorkel tube intake, works with aftermarket seat latches and a K&N filter will fit as well as foam filters and sells for around $200. What do ya think?

Yeah, I like the picture.

Will it be able to hold a slightly larger battery than the stock battery?

Since you say it has a lid and will use the stock snorkel, I am interested in it.

I too think $200 is a little steep.

Anyway, if you have more pictures... Like the lid attached, etc. I would appreciate it!:)

BTW... When will they become available?

Post pictures with everything in it,and one with the lid on if you can. I would buy one if the price was a little lower.

Thanks

CFM,
Looks like u will have some competetion ;) lol, I will also be putting out a new air box here within 2 weeks. It is a completely new design. WE have been testing it to no flaws at 2 GNCCs. They will not be using the stock snorkal system. WE have an updated intake for it. It will go for around.....100-140 with lid and all!! Ill post it as soon as we get the first few made.

Wow, lots of questions, but here goes. The least expensive airbox I have seen on the market is the Pingrys airbox at $189.00 depending on where you shop. It has no lid, only holds the battery and filter, and doesn't accept the snorkel. This airbox stronger than most boxes due to the 1/2" wide lip around the top and .082 5052 series aluminum we use. Also the fact that it is TIG welded by hand (no production MIG welding here) provides greater strength and better quality welds. No modifications to the electical system, other than routing the wires, is required. It is designed to fit the OEM size battery. The aixbox will be on ebay next week or you can order it directly from us. We do not offer an airbox for the 300EX yet. Contact me at nealoakley@cfmracing.com if you need to.
