Will an 86 ATC 250r transmission work in my 87? Im pretty sure there the exact same thing but just wanted to make sure.

as far as i know, they are pretty much the same.

Gear ratios are different on the old models but far as the shafts, any year will fit in any year model of case.
Gears are different, so dont try to interchange a gear with a different year model set.

I think I found this on Google a while back I just typed in 250R and it came up. I believe it was a decal but Im not positive.
