I am looking to start trap shooting and need to know an inexpensive gun that would be good to start off with.

Thanks,

Basically get yourself a decent 20 or 12 ga. shot gun. Break action or pump. Mossberg seems to make pretty accurate guns as well as remington. If your new to shot guns Id start out with a 20ga it will beat you up less, and it seems to be a popular choice for clays. Mainly your going to want to investigate ammo alot aswell. Guns can only be as good as what comes out of them. You can spend 1000 dollars on a world class trap gun and if you put junk ammo in it, the thing wont be worth a damn. Dont get me wrong you cant have a gun with a bent barrel and high dollar match ammo and shoot straight. But the compromise is more a decent gun with good ammo then decent ammo with a good gun. For all intensive purposes it doesnt really matter how good you are either its more about having fun.
