any news on the 2008 450r

I am wondering if anybody heard anything on the 08 450rs.

I haven't heard anything, but they usually change something every two years. I would hope by the time they release them, they would have fixed the starting problem and valve issues.

softer seat? dave u have an 05, have u sat on my seat, there is NO foam, just plastic. i wish i had your seat.
in 08 it'd be nice to see a better more rider friendly shaped gas tank, softer seat, and better shocks all around, it would be perfect then.

I heard from VERY reliable sources that the 08 trx450r will include the following changes:

EFI
redesigned front geometry
new steel valves
new battery and charging system to help with EFI load
no kicker
redesigned rear linkage
no update for shocks or engine
new stabilizing tailrotors

Options:
dorsal fin
5 point harness on SE model
Carbonfiber chrome subframe


Some details are still coming through. When I get more I'll let you know. Until then...stop asking about the 08! Good lord it is annoying, it is only april, and even if you knew what it had you can't get it yet anyway. Gezzz lol
