I have this old snowmobile that i want to sell for a dirtbike or just for quad money but i dont know what its worth. Can anybody give me info on this type of snowmobile?

All i know is its a 1977 Scorpion Whip 340. It has twin cylinders, 2 stroke, cvt automatic. and It hauls major balls.

yea it would be hard to sell it now and even if you did youd take a beating on it

its just flat out old. but if you found the right buyer, someone that had one "back in the day" they might pay up to 800-1000 for it because of the condition it is in. But it is spring now and that will make it even harder to sell

You could get 500+ if a collector saw it, but only 2-300 to someone who would want to ride it.

Where did u get the runners for ur skis? ^^^^ I was also thinking about building a sweet gokart that used the engine. IT runs like its brand new.

Put it on Ebay ... A collector will buy it for somewhere around $1000 .

Whips are FAST sleds .... many guys still use them in vintage ice racing .

You could get a lot more than you think, not that it matters cause you got it for free! Vintage sleds up this way are like gold... there is a pretty big racing circuit for them. My uncle has about 5 or 6 vintage sleds at his house with his 440 sno-jet being the main racer. Pretty sweet stuff.

I watched a mint alouette race sled go for about $9700 on ebay last week.

I have also seen arctic cat king cats 1975ish (800cc 4cyl 2stroke) in crappy condition go for over $11,000 on ebay.
