Sick mods. on my 400ex

So I bought my 400 a few weeks ago, it was bone stock!! I've bought a few things just wanted to know what you guys think. I plan on putting the black fullbore plastics on with +3 a-arms, elka's and so on. But for know since i'm s poor *** college student this is what I've done! Moose e-brake block off, Moose case saver, Moose oversized flew handle bars, and moose shorty lever with black perch. The Bling star nerf bars will be here today, and the bling star iron cross bumper will be here next pay check i think! I'll keep the pics coming when they are here! So what do you think? LOL i know it needs alot!!

And the bars. What else you guys think i need, that is of reasonable price for now?? Oh and I hate that gas cap!!! that so has to go ASAP, the guy who owned it before me bought that!! LOL i think it sucks!!

Commin along good. Nice start. What other mods does it have. If it dont already have it get a slip on pipe and air filter. one of the best mods ya can get.

Ya I bought a k&n for it, also the aluminum airbox but it is not installed yet. And a whites bro slip on. I will eventually get the full system but for know it will do.

Tires would be next in my book, then save for shocks. ;)

Looks like you have a good start. Yea wait for shocks get tires. Search around for a good deal theres nothing better than coming on here and looking at what others paid for an item you paid about 20$ less for. My hmf for instance i bought for 227$ others paid 235$-240$ not much but ya know i can spend that extra 7$ on something better. :D Also make sure you have it jetted right so you don't have to worry about fouling spark plugs.
How long have you been into the atv scene??? Keep a few xtra plugs laying around they will foul'em out pretty reg. every 1.5-2 mnths.(ngk-DPR9Z,DPR8Z, i have also found that auto zone carrys DR8ES-L those will fit too)(auto lite-4163 i don't recomend auto lite they just suck IMO)

Comin along nicely! Sounds like youve already got everything planned out but 2 things I can see that you could do to drastically change the look are a new graphics kit and a seat cover. ;)

So I got the blingstar proam nerf put on today! they look great!!! Sorry i forgot my camera so i will take pics of it next time I go to my house where my 400 is!!! Next up fullbore plastics, black rims, with new tires, and alumium air scoops.

I have never fouled a plug in my 400 your jetting must be messed up. I had the original plug for 5 years I just replaced it when I put in a 416

I used to foul 'em about every month when my bike was stock. When I piped it I jetted it to a point that I am going on the same plug for over a year now! I really had to lean her out but it has never ran stronger (and it isn't too lean, so don't worry).

It was rejetted and tuned just before i bought it.

OK so I finally got pics of my nerf bars and I decided to wrap my pipe. It turned out to look really really good, I think anyway.

Close up. I spayed the pipe with block paint first to prevent rust when wet. Then wrapped it up.

Coming along nicely, pretty much the same things i would have started with had i put my money into my 400EX instead of the 250R.

One thing that i'd consider getting is healguards for those nerf bars. Look good, and they'll save you a lot of pain eventually.

Tires/Rims would be the very next thing though for me.

Ok so when i bought my bike the guy before me must have done something like wreck it, b/c the right shock and upper a-arm bothe need replaced!!! If anyone has some old stock ones laying around and you want to sell them please let me know, or if you know someone who does!! Thanks guys
