No, its been rattle canned red (Yeah, it looks like crap, previous owner was a toolbag)

Even so, its only one coat thick, so it would show through. being the smart person he was he took the sticker off thats on the left front tube that has the VIN. The dealer told me it stamped on the frame somewhere, and I'm desperate to find it, I've looked everywhere!

They started making the 250ex's in 2001, so I don't know what you mean by earlier 2000's:confused:

i mean like 01-03ish, the dealer told me they change locations every once and awhile, and i know its not in the same spot as 06-07's.

Well I have an '02, and mine is in the same place as mhsc's. My best guess would be that yours probably got covered up by the paint.

In order to register the ATV, I need to have a VIN. I'm part of an ATV club that has an amzing trail system, I have my Blaster regsitered, now I need to do the same for my 250EX.

It definitely did not get painted over, I took all the paint off on the front support and there is no sign.

I'm going to the DMV today to get a new VIN issued. Its better than going nuts looking for one and not finding it. I spoke with the dealer again and they told me they sometimes print the VIN on the stickers that say honda manufaturing blah, blah. The person before me definitely took that off to paint, and never thought to put them back.
