426 with stage 2 cams

im in the market for buying a 426 and stage 2 hot cams for my 400ex and a full bill ballance exhaust. what kind of power will i feel from the cams and 426 will i be getting more low end or more high end power?

all over power. the BB will give you a nice all over gain with alot of low end, the pipe will help all over as well, and the cam will give you mid to top.

I love my 426 and stage 2 cam!! It pulls good all day long, never overheats.... even covered in mud...haha

Did yall rebore the stock sleeve or did yall resleeve it when you did the 426?? I heard that they could run kinda hot with the stock one:ermm:

i am running a stock sleeve onmy 426. it does not run hot at all, a little warmer than a stock bike but not overly warm.

yeah im gonna be running stock sleelve to im gonna get the motor work done by a guy i kno hes gonna bore it out for me put in the new top end and then thorw in the cams get all of the timing done right.
