Clocked mine at just over 60 with a GPS on a whooped out road. I know it would go faster on flat hard pack, also pullin a lotta weight at that speed....:macho :D

yea stock they 67-69 im almost positive....mines piped and its got a k&n but then again only 130 lbs

I remember racin a 450r on the road on the levee, I was leanin forward and sittin on the gas tank but whenever I got on it front end would lift a foot to a foot and a half off the ground, LoL, sweet stuff, and then even in high 5th, not to mention 6th wide open, the WIND was so hard to hold on, felt like getting hit by a train in the other direction comin against me.

Then everyone knows the feeling of the train hitting you on hard packed dirt or road when you are crusin, get on it and your like, "Ok, wait a minute............how the hell am I still holding on?"

I think its 68 stock but whose here is all stock? LoL. And 450's are like 72 or somethin and I was pullin hard on him all the way up top and he was modded so each one is different.

well i got a 1987 with a cr500 engine and it goes about 85 or so and 6th i can still pull the wheels

CR500's dont have 6th gear.

well... if you read over in the banshee section, pretty much any piped banshee does in excess of 100mph, and if theyre ported they do 120 with no problem... and then if you change the gearing, they can get up near 200mph...

so, if you take into consideration if its an african swallow or not, and the weight of the coconut, they probably top out in the high 40s...

i think the older CR500s had 6 gears.

I had an 86 CR500 ... had 5 gears. They feel like they have 6 gears cause they are so fast but they only have 5. I dont think any CR500 had 6 gears.

Show me proof of a banshee or whatever going nearly 200mph ... Thats the same as me saying my Jeep Cherokee can do 200 mph if I change the gears. I dont believe that any banshee can do 200 just by changing the gears and piped.

and was this on radar or GPS? Speedometers are not right if your going by that.
