gt thunder link... mx Vs. xc

well, I love trail AND track riding and I'm thinking about getting a GT thunder link/rebuild. Which package should I get?
MX or XC??

i would say talk to him and see what he recommends he knows more about his rebuilds than anyone else.. but my first thought was get the mx rebuild

your best bet would be mx because i got xc setup and i bottom out real easy so i had to get a whole nother set for mx. but i love the xc setup in the woods just cant hit big jumps.

I would get the one for the type of riding you enjoy and do more of. You can always harden up your compression with the xc link if you are worried of bottoming out.

Id say go with the MX and run it at its softest set up for XC.Once the XC set up is at its stiffest setting and still bottoms out your stuck.And eventually u will ride more and more aggressive.Id rather have a little stiffer ride in the trails than be bottoming out on the jumps!!!;)
