I'm going to be painting my frame on my 50. I would PC it, but I don't think its worth it on the 50. Do you guys have any recommendations on rattle can paint I should use that would last? Also, Do you think I should strip the factory paint first??

I will be primering and Clear coating it as well

when i did the a arms on my ex i used the ACE rust stop. I primed it, then used some flat black. It looked pretty sick and lasted all season. I figured for something that cheap i didnt mind taking my a arms off every winter to touch them up

Theirs a type of paint for pedal bike frames. The cap is super shinny looking. Comes in like red/chrome/blue/gold. You cant spray it over any type of paint other than white or else it wont show up. It looks really sweet on bair polished mettle 10x better than powder coat!! K mart or shopko always have that type of paint.

Well, $6 For a can of paint...or $200+ for all the stuff I want Pc'd. I'll stick with the Paint for right now, Now if it was my Quad, that would be a different story :p

It still shines just like chrome but is colored. Not sure how good it holds but looks sweet as hell. I seen it on a chicks polished rims before and looked sweet.

i think it will look stock with a painted frame, stock plastics, stock graphics, stock swinger, stock frame, stock rear shock, stock motor, stock forks, stock drum brakes, etc. i think different frame color looks chitty one a stock machine. like if it was fully pimped, powdercoated frame would be needed.

id rather make it fast and be able to take the jumps first.

true, but modifying your ride is as old as rides themselves. its about individuality and doing your own thing, wether it be a pit bike, or a 69 camaro

Ok, I got my Frame all tore down and Primered! I have decided that I want to go with a Stealth Black Color. Now with that I dont think I can do a clear coat, so does anyone have any suggestions on some brands/type of rattle can spray that I can buy that will hold up?
