1987 250x cam question

When i put a Hot Cams Stage 1 cam into my four wheeler do i need to adjust my valves to something other than stock?

Its a 1987 Honda 250x
-12:1 High Comp. Piston
-Ported % Polished
-DG Chrome exhaust

you should have got a red card with the hot cam that tells you what to set the valve lash at. and if you did not then just use the stock lash settings

.004" (.10mm) intake
.006" (.15mm) exhaust

Don't know if that's the same as stock, but that's what your cam calls for.

I think stock calls for 0.004" intake and exhaust both. This is just going from memory.

doenst it change with the new cam? rather than the stock one? otherwise i believe your correct on the stock setting...
