Stock 04 450r shock with GT MX link???

Question is, can the stock 04 450r shock be adjusted enough to make this set up work without a revalve/respring..... I just put the link on and the shock is not rebounding i sit on the quad (only about 185lbs) and the shock is bottomed out??? The shock only has about 30hrs on it tops...... any help is appreciated.... i want to ride this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Please post any advice and directions on how to adjust the shock.....

hmmm did u put it on backwards? i dont even knwo if thats possible but i had the set up for a couple months and it didnt bottom out anymore then the stock link also make sure the shocks isnt all the way loose

Pretty sure that's not possible..... don't know what the deal is... the shock was at the stock setting when i put the GT link on.......

Its a completely different leverage ratio!!!Crank in the spring tension and adjust the compression and it will work ok but the best bet is a revalve!!

I have done the same thing with the XC GT link should I adjust the compression harder or softer? thanks
