Well today i was bored and i wanted to do somthing to my 04 Z400 so I shaved the fenders today it looks sweet ill post pics tomarrow.

Some people do it (including me) and if you do it right it looks sweet. But only like 10% of quads with the rear fenders cut look good cause you have to do it just right.:scary:

no fenders by the way my friend has a blaster and hes quick as hell on it. wouldnt under estimate them.

Depends on the riding. In MX type applications it allows better visibility when cornering and airborn.

50% of the cases it's just to look cool. ;) I used to race XC so I run full fender w/ a nice coating of PAM on the underside to keep mud from sticking. ;)
