300ex Charging

OK maybe someone can HELP!! I have a 98 300ex and it wont take a charge and also when I jump start the bike when it idleing the lights flash with the idle Head light and tail light and ignation light any ideas???

I think like 2/3 300EX's have battery problems. ;)

Check the ground on the frame. Check all of the power wires from your battery all the way up. You need to check all of your wiring, because that's what the problem is. There is no power from the battery whatsoever, which is why your lights flash at idle.

Sounds like it say for a long time without a battery tender on it.

I have to keep a battery tender on my battery when storing it for the winter or I end up having to buy a new one in the spring. ($80)
