I want to buy and resale this 450r for profit. Its a one owner 2004 that has been xc raced but very well maintaned. Here are the mods..

10 hours on rebuilt motor
Wiseco crank, 12:1 piston, valves, springs (Taylor built)
HRC kit
Long Horn bars
Burgard chrome stem
AC pro pegs
LSR block off
GT Thunder revalved fronts
Red X HD tie rods
Carbon Fiber hood
New swingarm bearings, wheel bearings, & shock bushings, fresh shocks, brand new oem clutch & cables, new stock wheel and tires

It needs a-arm bushings and a stem bushing. The plastic is scratched and the rear has a crack in it but still holds up.

I can buy it for $2900. If I replace the bushings and possibly the plastic, would I be able to get $3500 pretty easily? Thanks

Won't the new plastics alone cost like 400?

I'm not sure how it would compare in your area, but where I live(UT) that quad would sell in the $3800 to $4300 range depending on condition and time of year.

this is about the right time to sell a quad because the riding fever is really comming around.

if the guy has the stock take offs you can make some extra $$ by putting the atv back closer to stock and selling the shocks etc.
(just a thought)

I would be spending about $100 on the bushings. If I decided to replace the plastic (which doesnt have to be done, it would just help the sale) it would cost around $250. I will probably end up buying it.
