If you are talking about the L shaped thing attached to the valve cover. I would say it is a beather and there is supposed to be a tube attached to it.

yea its a tube comin from the valve cover to the intake manifold i guess it came loose he said what is it tho i cant think rite now

yep. thats what it is. It goes into the valve cover. I just replaced mine on my truck....lol
