Buy upgraded 400ex or 450r?

hey guys just wondering wat you think? i currently have a fully upgraded 426ex and love it and looking to pick up another quad. my question is should i picked up a new 400ex say with big bore or motor upgrades, cam, exhaust, shocks, a-arm..... basically whole works or a stock 450r or yfz 450 with exhaust. let me know what u think but im not droppin my 400ex cause i still take em on all the time in the trails.

I would definitely get the souped up 400ex because It will do just about the same as a fixed up 450r and the one your buying doesnt need to have a bunch of money dumped into it like the 450r would.

agreed man i got a 450 and didnt race and it was nice but im just as happy with the 400 i have now and wish i would have got it first so i didnt have too deal with my 450 blowing up

Get a TRX450R....I have a 06 450r w/pipe,k and n filter and cam stage II....every time i go out to oldsmobile at glamis i race fixed up big bore 440's... 465's...and smoke them by at least 2 1/2 bike lenghts!!!!! Dude the power of the 450r is amazing compared to the 400ex...i own both so i speak from experience!!!!!!!

welllll i would say get a 450 with the hrc kit cuz thats wut i have and i love it. BUT my buddy has a 02 400ex with a procircuit slip on new air box n filter and is jetted accuratly. and it clips pretty good. i love my r but if the 400 is sweet. it depends what you wanna do.

i say get a 450 because you all ready have a nice 400 so you might as well get something different
