I am looking for a cam to make some good power on the bottom end.. looking for torque. I have a web cam, but its a mostly mid to high end power cam.. Hot Cams stage 1 and 2 both say they are for mid to upper power.. I am looking for something low end.. anyone know of a cam that can give me this??

Is the stage 1 going to be any better than the web cam I already have??

I don't have a webcam or a stage 1 so I can't really compare, but a buddy of mine has a 416ex with a stage 1 in it, we have the same exact mods other than the cam, he preferred torque over top-end. Anyway, his wants to wheelie too much, but so does mine, just not as muhc as his. But either cam you get you will be happy with, the Stage 2 still benefits a little in the bottom end range.

well the plans for this motor is going to be a 416 kit and a new cam.. Right now the old motor is too worn out to want to pull many wheelies.. The cam has been in it for a few years so the motor was still good when it was installed.. I just want it to have all bottom end power.. dont care how fast it goes so it sounds like the stage 1 might be the way to go.. Anyone know of any other companies that make good cams?

I suggest you do this, just buy the stage 2, you won't lose and bottom-end you'll gain some but it benefits more on top-end, then just drop a tooth on the front sprocket.

The teeth have been dropped on the front already.. I dont think the stage 2 cam would be any better than what I already have..

I love my stage 2, it pulls through every gear. If you want that much torque, enough that in 5th gear it'll come up no problem (it could happen :p ) than go for the stage 1.
